Centre For Skill & Entrepreneurship Development (CSED)

Prof. Jitendra Nath Shrivastava is the Director of Center for Skill & Entrepreneurship Development (CSED). He has been the Vice Chancellor, Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Chief Proctor, Head (Computer Science & Engineering) and Advisor to Proctorial Board in the past. He has having more than 27 years of experience in teaching, research and administration. He has published more than 30 research papers in international & national journals of repute to his credit. He has also authored three books in the field of Database Management Systems. He has also delivered many expert lectures in various academic institutions. His research areas of expertise are Database Management Systems, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things. He is working on skill up-gradation, building of new skills and innovative thinking not only for existing jobs but also jobs that are to be created.

I believe that a great entrepreneur must be able to effectively communicate, sell, focus, learn, and strategize. An ability to continuously learn is not just a key entrepreneurial skill, but also a very valuable life skill.

Message from the Director Administration

Mr. Amitabh Drona is an expert and experienced administrator. Previously, he served as the Executive Secretary to the President and Director Administration at Clara Swain Mission Hospital, Bareilly. As a strategic human resource planner and administrator, he is actively contributing to the development and progress of Invertis University.

Our effort to offer to the corporate community future employees is in itself unique and is far beyond the confines of the four walls of the University. It has always been recognized that grooming is a continuous effort and a huge investment in resources thus making it essential to adapt to the corporate environment at large. We at Invertis University ensure that every student gets the right skill and domain knowledge so that they are easily acceptable to the industry.

It is a tradition that the recruiting organizations visiting our Univrsity carry out pre-placement talks, or presentations organized by the company for the students. These talks allow the students to learn more about the companies. The Department of CRC is well equipped with excellent infrastructure to support each and every stage of the placement processes in the campus.

The University places special emphasis on inculcating corporate values and skills required for complex decision-making, besides developing superior expertise on functional domains and garnering business knowledge. The University has also developed a pool of highly experienced and qualified industry and academic professionals who regularly guide us in improving the teaching methodology, course content development as per industry requirement to ensure updated and required academic delivery.

It has been since a few years that before the placement drive commences at the University, the students undergo a professional assessment test where each student is reviewed and given the options on the field of work where they could be at their best. Because at Invertis University, we incorporate it from the day one of the student joining that ‘The only way to do Great Work is to Love what you do’.
