Department of Mechanical Engineering is conducting an Lecture on Topic - Bio-healing materials: Building fire safety, Carbon capture and bacteria-modified self-healing materials ( by our faculty Dr. Ajitanshu Vedratnam & Professor A - Universidad Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, Spain).
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Ajitanshu Vedratnam Mishra at Invertis University in seminar hall no-2 by Mechanical Engineering Department on 13th April 2021. Following points are the highlights of the expert lecture-
Mechanical engineering department got another project by DST (department of science and technology, Govt. of India) to work on plastic recycling.
He told that all the major research ideas were generated by our university students of diploma and degree.
He told that he has treated the glass in such a manner that it can sustain the fire up to a very long time and it will not catch fire.
Students came to know about various fiber composites which are made by waste materials.
He is working on such building materials that don’t catch fire easily with other experts from various countries like Spain and Italy.
A fire testing instrument was made the mechanical engineering department of Invertis University and various fire testing were done on that instrument.
He told students that students can work with on aerodynamic materials.
He motivated students to go for the research work.
He, Dheeraj sagar and his M.tech student has also developed the cellulose fiber for the carbon capture to ensure low level of pollution
He is also engaged in research work with university of Tristy , Italy for the development of other composites that may be useful in future.
