The Department of Education aims at preparing dedicated, skilled, knowledgeable and creative quality teachers possessing not only in-demand technical skills but also high standards of professional ethics to meet and enrich the evolving demands of the educational system in particular and the society at large. We aim at producing quality teacher educators who perform complex duties ranging from effective classroom teaching to moulding the value system of pupils and undertaking administrative responsibilities with élan. The department offers four year integrated programs leading to B.Sc./B.A. B.Ed. and B.El.Ed. duly recognized by NCTE.
