Research Overview

Research in Department of Civil Engineering at Invertis University is focused on addressing civil engineering-related problems in the Indian context such as those related to infrastructure development, urbanisation and natural resource management. This research is conducted through both laboratory experiments and field studies, which utilise high-end instrumentation, as well as information technology tools.

COLLABORATION

Department of Civil Engineering actively working on Disaster Management via MoU with Invertis University and the National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM), Govt. of India. The MoU aims to collaborate in the area of Disaster Risk Reduction. Invertis University is also a member of the India University Institutional Network for Disaster Risk Reduction (IUIN-DRR) which is an important initiative of NIDM. Mr. Awdhesh Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering is representing the Invertis University in IUIN-DRR.

Research Policy

The Department of Civil Engineering at Invertis University lays emphasis on the development of quality research that is intended to benefit society in terms of its impact on the environment, health, and safety.
