Students in the department gain a solid foundation in engineering fundamentals, as well as specialised knowledge that prepares them for successful careers in the electrical engineering field. They learn how to design, build, test, and maintain electrical and electronic systems, such as communications systems, power systems, and computer systems. They are also exposed to the latest industry trends and technologies through live projects, workshops and internships, which gives them the knowledge and skills necessary to become successful electrical engineers.

Message from HOD

Dear Prospective Students,

Electrical department is providing a complete ecosystem for the students which consist of quality education by experienced teaching faculties, project-based learning and business modeling. The students are given complete training in Electrical Engineering along with recent technologies which help them with problem solving in industries.

At present, the department offers a four year undergraduate programme, B.Tech. (Electrical Engineering), three year Diploma (Electrical Engineering) and Ph.D. programme in core Electrical Engineering specializations. In addition to the university syllabus, we are providing them complete training of recent core and IT based technologies like PLC,SCADA, MATLAB, Electrical AutoCad, Python, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Internet of Things .Students are groomed with Aptitude Training by professional and presentation skills training .Our faculties are using the virtual Labs for practical training.

The department encourages our students to participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities. They are also encouraged to undergo international internships in various universities abroad. In a nutshell, the department is working in the direction of shaping up the students to make them global competitive technocrats and future entrepreneurs of our country.
