The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication was established in the year 2012. In this faculty, Bachelor in Journalism & Mass Communication and PhD program are being conducted by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication. The department also has a well-equipped Media Lab with state-of-the-art resources to train the students. The Department of Journalism & Mass Communications at Invertis University is a vibrant and dynamic place that strives to develop and nurture students’ understanding and appreciation of media, its roles and its impact on society. The department has a strong emphasis on practical knowledge generation, and provides students with ample opportunities to apply the theoretical concepts they learn in the classroom.

  • Industrial visits: Regular visits to Printing Press, Media House, Television Channels, and Radio Stations to provide practical exposure to the students.

The field of journalism and Mass Communication is continuously expanding due to digitization. With digital being the new password for global connectivity, a new society has been created. This development brings with it numerous possibilities for media professionals. There is a growing desire to peruse holistic education. In such a situation, the field of Journalism and Mass Communication is continuously evolving to encompass new technology. The impact of this digital society is visible in the new generation's way of thinking, understanding and career options.

The utility and importance of universities in assuring positive changes in society is undeniable. It is also the responsibility of these institutions to assist in positive personality building and shaping global citizens. This alone can assist in the nation’s progress and contribute to building an egalitarian society.
