Essay Competition
On 20th February, the Department of Law organized an essay competition on the topic "Participation of Women in Social Justice: A Way Forward." The event aimed to encourage students to delve into the crucial issue of gender equality and women's involvement in shaping a just society. Thirty-one enthusiastic students participated in the competition, showcasing their analytical skills and perspectives on the subject matter. The participants demonstrated a deep understanding of the challenges women face in accessing social justice and proposed innovative solutions to promote inclusivity and equality. Their essays explored the significance of empowering women to play an active role in various aspects of society and how such engagement could pave the way for a fairer and more equitable world.
After rigorous evaluation, a panel of esteemed judges selected three winners based on the content, originality, and clarity of their essays. These exceptional students not only articulated their ideas eloquently but also provided actionable recommendations for a more inclusive society.
