The guest lecture was successfully conducted on the topic Sustainable Fashion: need of the hour to save planet on 4th June 2021.
The lecture was presented by Dr. Babita Bhandari, Assistant Professor, NIFT , Kangra.
focused on aspects of #sustainability like reduce use of synthetic materials , reside the reuse, recycle and reimagine the used resources.the lecture gave insight about several clothing brands focussing and working to achieve sustainable fashion to preserve the environment.
It was an informative session and the students were motivated to develop collection bases on the aspects of sustainability.
