The B.Com Department, Faculty of Management, Invertis University, Bareilly, successfully organized a guest lecture on “Hunger Eradication and Food Wastage – Two Problems One Solution” on 7th April 2025 for all the students of B.Com (H) and B.Com.
The session was graced by Mr. Abhishek Tiwari, an active member of the Robin Hood Army - Lucknow Cluster, a globally recognized NGO dedicated to eradicating hunger. Professionally, Mr. Tiwari is also serving as Senior Sales Manager at Exajoule Pvt. Ltd. He was invited as the guest speaker for the event.
Mr. Tiwari began his session by engaging the students with thought-provoking insights on the three major problems faced globally and the three primary needs of human beings. He emphasized how hunger and poverty lie at the root of many social issues and how organizations like the Robin Hood Army are taking proactive steps to address them.
He shared the inspiring story of how the Robin Hood Army was formed by three friends and has since grown into a self-funded global movement across multiple countries. Highlighting the organization's mission, he reminded students that true happiness and satisfaction come from helping those in need, rather than material achievements.
The session was highly interactive and informative, sparking meaningful conversations among the students about their role in contributing to society beyond their corporate aspirations.
We express our sincere gratitude to Mr. Abhishek Tiwari for inspiring the young minds to integrate social responsibility with professional growth.
The session was made successful under the visionary leadership and constant support of Dr. Umesh Gautam (Honourable Chancellor), Mr. Parth Gautam (Executive Director), Prof. YDS Arya (Vice-Chancellor), Prof. Manish Gupta (Dean Management), Dr. Dheeraj Gandhi (HOD, B.Com), and the organizing team comprising Ms. Anamika Sen (Convenor), Mr. Vivek Gupta, Dr. Mohnish Kumar, Dr. Neha Yadav, Ms. Shaheen Efrah Ali and Mr. Naman Agarwal.
