Event Description
Department of Civil Engineering had organized a one day Industrial Visit on the date 07/10/2022 to the NHPC Ltd Banbasa.. Our Diploma and B.Tech Students ( 62 students) with faculty members and NHPC subordinate staffs joined the industrial visit. Students understand the construction, operation and control of the hydro-electric power generation. And also visited the Banabasa Barrage he understand about the details construction and operation of barrage how it worked for power generation.
Shri Rajeev Sachdeva , Head of Power Station and Mr. Aravind Chelekar GSM (HR) NHPC Bnabasa accompanied the students and he explain the model of NHPC power station.
The students have gained the practical knowledge and also got the exposures to the real-life working environment of hydro-electric power generation and Barrage which will make them ready and prepared themselves as per the industry requirement. The event was successfully held and the students were satisfied with such an industrial visit. They suggested to go more such industrial visit in the near future.
