This competition helped the students of the university to learn more about the D.I.Y Crafts and the process and material required to use develop and create beautiful Rakhi’s using this technique.

The art of making Rakhi is a craft that has been an integral part of Indian culture for a long period of time. The intricate designs and colorful rakhi threads make these ornamental pieces a reflection of India’s diverse culture and heritage.

Today, there are several cities across India that are known for their expertise in making rakhi, and it is fascinating to explore the unique techniques and traditions behind this ancient craft. This also helped the students to know the importance of the festival of Rakhi & our culture.
