Objective: The key objective of this FDP is to carry out research, the personnel needs to be trained in
research methodology, design of experiments, and data analysis by different recent techniques. This FDP emphasized
on understanding, planning and conducting scientific experiments. The FDP was organized to satisfy the needs of
faculty carrying out research in any field. The contents are designed on the basic principles of scientific
research, design of experiments.
Participants: 18 Faculty members
Prof. A.K. Singh (G.B. Pant University of Ag. &Tech., Pantnagar) was the main speaker of the above FDP programme.
The programme was organized by Department of Applied Science and Humanities on November 15, 2016.

organized by Dr. Kamlesh Kumar Sharma, Assistant Professor, Invertis University. Rapid changes of modern world have
caused the Higher Education System to face a great variety of challenges.
Therefore, training more eager, thoughtful individuals in interdisciplinary fields is required. Thus, research and
exploration to figure out useful and effective teaching and learning methods are one of the most important
necessities of educational systems. Prof. A.K. Singh (G.B. Pant University of Ag. &Tech., Pantnagar) focused on the
Recent Experimental Techniques. During the FDP Programmes Prof. Singh have successfully discussed the different
aspects of modern experimental techniques. All the attendees were satisfied with the content delivered by Prof.
Singh.
