Teaching Methods in Life Science

Objective: The new century introduced significant changes in didactics and teaching methods. Pedagogy of the
twentieth century differs from the pedagogy of the twenty-first century. Since the beginning of the twenty-first
century, there have been many changes in the development of national and world education. The key objective of
this FDP was to enhance teaching and learning performance of Life Science faculties.
Participants: 16 Faculty members
Dr. Pulak Das (Dr B. R Ambedkar University, Delhi) was the main speaker of the above FDP programme. This programme
was organized by Dr. Satendra Singh, Assistant Professor, Invertis University. Prof. Das, during his talk focused on
various Teaching Methods in Life Science. During the FDP Programmes Dr. Das have emphasized that the Digital
technologies change our way of life, ways of communication, way of thinking, feelings, channels of influence on
other people, social skills, and social behaviour. All the attendees were satisfied with the content delivered by
Prof. Das.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Y.D.S. Arya and Dean Faculty of Science, Prof. P. P. Singh were appreciated the content of the
FDP and ask the organiser to organise such FDP’s in future. The head of the department Dr. Kamlesh Kumar Dubey
mentioned that through this lecture faculties will learn a lot about the modern teaching methods in life sciences.
