Visit to Lok Adalat, Bareilly
On August 13, 2022, students from the Department of Law embarked on a visit to the Lok Adalat in Bareilly as part of their educational experience. The purpose of the visit was to provide the students with an opportunity to witness the functioning of the Lok Adalat, which plays a crucial role in the Indian legal system.
Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by the court staff and judges. They were given an insightful briefing on the concept and significance of Lok Adalats in resolving legal disputes through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. The students observed several ongoing cases, gaining practical knowledge about the mediation and conciliation processes adopted during the proceedings.
