WORKSHOP ON TOPIC - CAMPUS TO CORPORATE: RESUME BUILDING STRATEGIES & IMPORTANT SKILLS FOR INTERVIEW ORGANISED BY FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT FOR B.COM (H) & B.COM (2ND YEAR) ON 13TH APRIL 2022
Creating a resume and facing the interview is a difficult task for everyone, and it becomes more difficult when you are in the learning phase of your career. Keeping these difficulties in view, the Faculty of Management organized a workshop on “Campus to Corporate: Resume Building Strategies and Important Skills for Interview” by Mr. Amritansh Mishra (Assistant Professor, Department of Professional Communication) for the students of B.Com (H) and B.Com (2nd Year) on 13th April 2022.
Mr. Mishra started the conversation by asking the students about the difference between a CV and a Resume. In addition, he pointed out that a resume and interview are both related and in that resume is a way to make yourself stand out from others.
He further explained that the resume format might not be 100% the same for everyone, but yes, it should not be too flexible; one has to follow some basic standards and customize it as per the requirement and type of job.
After the workshop, students learned a lot about how to prepare a resume, how to write career objectives, and how to answer an interview.

The workshop was proved fruitful under the guidance of Prof. YDS Arya (Vice Chancellor), Prof. Manish Gupta (Dean Management), Dr. Dheeraj Gandhi (HOD, B.Com), Dr. Mohnish Kumar and Mr. Vivek Gupta.
