Message from the Dean Faculty of Agriculture
The study of agriculture faces the dual challenges of sustainable food production and maintaining a healthy environment. There has never been a more immediate and pressing need for agriculture and natural resource professionals than now. The current generation of professionals have to find ways to increase food production without increasing the amount of land and water available for agriculture – truly one of the world’s grand challenges. The science of agriculture is strongly required to meet these expectations.
Invertis University’s Faculty of Agriculture currently trains its human resources to focus on the three vital keywords - food, environment and life. To achieve this, we provide a conducive teaching-learning environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities. Participation and active engagement of students in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities and community service considerably enhances their worldview and perspective.
Some of us may have a deep abiding history and set of experiences around agriculture, while for others, this might be the first time that they will experience it.
